And now I can write.
Of joy.
For there must be joy or else there would be despair. There must be joy in happiness and there must be joy in pain as well.
In the deepest hours of sorrow, when my heart breaks and I cry silently, there must be joy.
I want to be joy. Life is so hard, it burns so fast, it needs all the light it can have. I hate the pain and the sorrow, but with the hope brought by joy, I can go on.
I will always mend. And I will always reach for all the joy I can. Looking for the light birthed in spite and within the shadows.
